El Estero de Neyba, provincia Bahoruco

El Estero is a small, beautiful, and peaceful town in the province of Bahoruco, Dominican Republic, located right on the highway that connects the municipality of Neyba with the municipality of Villa Jaragua, approximately 220 kilometers from Santo Domingo. It borders the municipality of Neyba to the east, the municipality of Villa Jaragua to the west, the community of El Manguito to the north, and Lake Enriquillo to the south. Visitors to this community, located just over two kilometers west of the municipality of Neyba, remark on the tranquility that permeates the area. In recent years, this town has transformed from a handful of houses into a sizable community. Residents report that it has nearly 1,400 inhabitants.
