The Douro Wine Region in its purest form Trails along the Douro River, always going up and down Loose stones, sand and technical paths More stream crossings Wind turbines on the mountaintops And the fatigue… starting to weigh on us The CATITA was pushed to its limits again — often with little power to tackle the toughest climbs, always fighting against the terrain and its own limitations. But then there are those moments when it all pays off… From the Alto Douro to the Beira Alta the landscapes are simply brutal.
