This is a Sanskrit Skit performed by the students of Gurukul Sanskrit Academy, Pune on the occasion of International Sanskrit Day on 6th August 2017. This story is based on the discourse given to us by our beloved Gurudev Shri. Padmanabhan Krishnadasa. This story illustrates how ill effects of a king's karma subjected his state & people to a severe drought & how a SadGuru then helped the king overcome his past, in effect revivifying the state too of its sorrows. Every year, with the grace, blessings and guidance of our beloved Gurudev Shri. Padmanabhan Krishnadasa, Gurukul Sanskrit Academy celebrates International Sanskrit Day. The students of the academy engage in various performances like - Skits, Songs, Recitations and Speech, all in Sanskrit language. A number of people attend this program every year.
