Butch: There was this one hot chick who gave me this one special job. Apparently, she wanted me to gain more information about a fashion event in the Soviet Union. Butch: I was desperate! I'm running out of cash! So I took the job, since all I had to do was go there and get information! Once it's done, she gave me a last job, which is to place some weird device undetected at the event. Butch: Things got smooth until that Zherdeva woman caught me. She assumed I was some sort of a terrorist, and tried to kill me! I had to defend myself, so I shot her with her own rifle! Diego: Espera un segundo...Who was this woman again? Could you give us a description? Butch: Black hair, short style, and dressed fancily. She also sports round glasses. I think she had brown eyes too. Diego: That description! Mierda! That's Ava! Sparking the Tensions (3/5): As Butch was taken to a gulag as punishment, Akane and Simo finished their undercover sting operation and found the device mentioned by Butch. Checking the device, it turns out to be explosives from the future. Seeing the Watchkeepers try to sabotage the past with their futuristic items once again to cause World War III, we tried finding Nikita Khrushchev, the Premier of the USSR, but he was not on the area. We asked Castro if he knew anything about his whereabouts, and say that he was in Siberia for a facility tour. Later, we investigated the show once again and find a documents listing an autopsy report. Cal analyzed it and said that it belonged to...Alexandra Klein (She was one of the partners on the events of RoC for those who didn't know). Simo heard the name and was shocked, before demanding to speak with Akane and the Chief, as well as the detective, privately. He explains that he lied about his origins, and that he was actually from 2029, and Alexandra was his dead fiancée, who died during the events of Cathela from unknown reasons. His investigation led to the fact that she was killed on-duty, but involvement of Deus was nowhere to be found. Simo concluded that Eylül might have anything to do due to the fact that both Alexandra and Eylül were rivals and the latter attempted to kill the former lots of times, which explains why Simo and Eylül didn't like eachother on the first glance. Simo joined the team just to avenge his fiancée, and also vent his frustations towards criminals, even killing them if could. As great as that backstory was, the focus later shifted back to the mission, and we tried finding Eylül for answers whether she is involved with anything (especially the Watchkeepers since y'know, they used to be Deus), but she denied all involvement, and thinks Simo was just a paranoid mess. We planted a tracker on her purse as she left to watch her movements. Later, Diego found Butch's notebook which says the presence of a strange island in the Atlantic, and it is uncharted. The island hosts a chapel with a lone priest tending, and rumored to be a former storage site for the Mazundans to store the nukes, but nobody knows if it's true or false. We wanted to ask Butch about this, but he is imprisoned inside a gulag we don't know. We asked Semenov if he could help find the gulag Butch was in thanks to his connections, and he agreed as a sign of respect to the team for solving Liliya's murder. Two hours later, Semenov found the gulag, which is in Chukotka, called the Ledyanoy Ad (Ice Hell in English). We head there to meet Butch for more information to prevent World War III from happening.
