I really love the universe and after seeing mulan again, i re-fell in love with gong li. the first time i saw her was in memoirs of a geisha. she's absolutely beautiful and i re-watched pb because it's a great series and i had the time. I love taking background characters and bringing them up front. this is the story between astoria zhao and tommy shelby. she's the girl who does the powder trick and works with polly as an informant for the chinese district, just as her mother did before her for the shelbys. she's not supposed to want him and he isn't supposed to want her. after a while he ends up moving on, after she's forced to stay away, but when she leaves the chinese brothel she's able to see him again, but he's married. things are complicated, the peaky blinders are being challenged and she's just a sense of normalcy. but feelings get involved as usual. i can't wait to vid them again!
