Jn 3:19-21 This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. 20 "For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21 "But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God. C. He already knows 1. "Am I a God who is near," declares the Lord, "And not a God far off? 24 "Can a man hide himself in hiding places So I do not see him?" declares the Lord. II. Who Told You That You Were Naked? V. 11 A. You sided with God’s enemy 1. 1 Jn 3:7-8 Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; 8 the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. B. Sin puts you under dominion of devil 1. Ac 26:18 so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, C. Devil uses sin to accuse you before God 1. Rv 12:10 for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night. III. What Have You Done? V. 13 A. You Will Answer For What You Have Done 1. 2 Co 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. B. Judgment will condemn corrupt 1. 2 Pe 2:9-10 the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from temptation, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment, 10 and especially those who indulge the flesh in its corrupt desires and despise authority. C. Judgment disclose hidden motives 1. Can’t fake it - talk your way out of it 2. 1 Co 4:5 Therefore do not go on passing judgment before the time, but wait until the Lord comes who will both bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and disclose the motives of men's hearts; and then each man's praise will come to him from God. IV. Redemption Is Provided A. He shall bruise your head 1. Foreshadow of grace 2. Prophecy of Jesus 3. Talking to Eve - the woman 4. Gal 4:4-5 But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, 5 so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. B. Grace includes crushing of Satan 1. Ro 16:20 The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you. C. Satan condemned for eternity in hell 1. Rv 20:10 And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. 2.
