I Destroyed 4 Batteries to Build One Better One
I was done running four separate Yeagulch 12V 300Ah batteries in series. All it takes is ONE weak BMS to shut down the entire bank — and that’s exactly what kept happening. So today, I tore open all four batteries and rebuilt them into ONE 48V battery pack with a single BMS. No more four micromanagers fighting each other. No more one battery taking down the whole system. In this video I show: How I opened the 12V 300Ah batteries What the inside actually looks like Why multiple BMS units can cause problems in series setups How I combined everything into one 48V pack And whether it actually powered up… This isn’t the prettiest build — I had to reuse some parts because I needed this system running TODAY — but it works. Would you run four 12V batteries in series, or build one 48V pack like this? 👇 Let me know in the comments. #48VBattery #LiFePO4 #DIYsolar #BatteryBuild #OobiesTips #yeagulch
