At Christopher Columbus Park on Boston’s waterfront, the Boston Press Photographers Association’s 2025 Pictures of the Year exhibit showcases award-winning news, sports, portrait, and feature photography from across New England. As we walk through the outdoor gallery, we take a closer look at the stories behind many of the photographs and talk about the moments they captured. Along the way you’ll also see Christopher Columbus Park, Boston Harbor, preparations for Navy Week, and one of Boston’s favorite waterfront gathering places.
