[1, 2] In reading the Qur'an, this rule mainly applies to the law of Nun Mati (نْ) or Tanwin (ــًــ, ــٍــ, ــٌــ) and is divided into two main categories 1. Idgham Bilaghunnah (Melding Without Buzzing) It occurs when nun mati or tanwin meets two letters: Lam (ل) and Ra (ر). The way to read it is to merge the sound of the letter without buzzing. Idgham Bighunnah (Melting with Humming) Occurs if nun dies or tanwin meets four letters: Ya (ي), Nun (ن), Mim (م), and Wau (و) in two separate words. The way to read it is by melting the sound of the first letter to the second letter accompanied by humming.
