Simi deactivated her X account after the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) announced that they are ready to investigate some disturbing allegations about her! Some old tweets by Nigerian songstress Simisola Kosoko, professionally known as Simi, resurfaced online. Public discussions raised concerns of abuse and misconduct in the daycare that the singer’s mother was running a few years ago. As the public concerns intensified, NAPTIP, on February 24 2026, issued a public notice, urging people to bring factual information or evidence that they might have about the singer’s misconduct or happenings in her mother’s day care.
