Jaume Aragall - Rigoletto "La donna è mobile" - Napoli (live 1973)
I remember hearing this for the first time at Bongiovanni's (Bologna) back in 1996 when they still were located in Via Rizzoli. I was not impressed with their CD issue, the audio was noisy and it was a half note too slow - they do not seem to have noticed. I did not get the CDs. The last high note of the aria is stunning as is the rest of his elegant singing. Now, from another source comes a (more or less) correctly pitched version in better sound than the Bongiovanni-release.
