Järnvägsmuseets jubileumståg: 100-år av eldrift på Västra Stambanan filmat på Stockholm C

In 2026 it will be 100 years since the first electric trains began operating on the Western Main Line. That is why the Railway Museum is running a commemorative train on May 23, from Stockholm to Gothenburg. The train has 1930s and 40s carriages, which are pulled by the electric locomotive D101 from 1925 and D432 from 1936 and will take turns pulling the train. The train will run at approximately 70 kilometers per hour. The video was recorded 23rd of May 2026.
