Today, I had the opportunity to visit a school with the Addie’s Afrique Foundation and other amazing partners to educate young girls about menstrual hygiene and healthy period practices. We shared knowledge on what to expect during menstruation, how to care for themselves, and how to confidently manage their cycles without shame. The session also included powerful storytelling from older women who shared their personal experiences, helping the girls understand that they are not alone and that every girl deserves support, dignity, and proper care during her period. This experience was not just educational but also inspiring, as it highlighted the importance of open conversations about menstrual health and protecting young girls in our communities.
