The third city on my round-the-world trip was New York, USA, where I flew in first class on American Airlines from London. I stayed at the New York Marriott Marquis, a hotel overlooking Times Square, using Marriott points for five nights. As a Platinum Elite, I had access to the lounge and it was very accessible. It was a little noisy, but it was a convenient hotel for sightseeing.
