Carsharing v Praze – lepší než vlastní auto

CAR4WAY What cars does it offer: various Škoda, Volkswagen or Audi models (all with automatic transmission) How to use the service: You can find cars through the app. Before you can get in and drive off, you need to take pictures of the car from all sides. The application unlocks the car and locks it after use. After driving, it is necessary to photograph the car again. How about fuel: The car can be refueled thanks to the card available in the car. How to pay: You pay for kilometers and time. It is possible to activate more advantageous packages. The price is also influenced by the model and size of the car. Bolt What cars does it offer: Audi cars (with automatic transmission) How the service is used: You can find cars through an application that unlocks the car and locks it after driving. The advantage is that it is not necessary to take pictures of the car before or after the trip (the exception is when you notice damage to the car). How is it with fuel: The car can be refueled using a refueling card, and the application will also show you in advance how many kilometers the car can drive. If it happens that the card is not in the car, you need to exchange it for another one. How to pay: You pay for kilometers and time. It is possible to activate more advantageous packages. Anytime What cars it offers: various Toyota models (with automatic transmission) How to use the service: You can find cars through the app. Before you can get in and drive off, you need to take pictures of the car from all sides. The application unlocks the car and locks it after use. After driving, it is necessary to photograph the car again. How about fuel: The car can be refueled thanks to the card available in the car. How to pay: You pay for kilometers and time. It is possible to activate more advantageous packages. The size of the car also affects the price. HoppyGo Although it is not a classic carsharing, it is worth knowing about this service. Cars are rented there directly from the owners, at least for the whole day or even for several days (you pay for the rental period, not kilometers). It's perfect for when you're going on a trip or vacation. Final assessment And how did our carsharing test in Prague turn out? We evaluated in these criteria: 1) Car coverage - with around 1,200 cars, CAR4WAY clearly dominates. 2) Returning cars - carsharing cars of all companies can be parked anywhere in Prague. However, if you need to go to the wider Prague zone (e.g. Zbraslav, etc.) and leave the car there, you can only do so with the CAR4WAY service. 3) Quality of cars – CAR4WAY and Bolt have the best cars, with CAR4WAY and Anytime you can choose from different car sizes. 4) Price – the minute rate is similar for all services, the packages are the most advantageous with Bolt. 5) User-friendliness – the easiest way to pick up and return your car is with Bolt (no need to take photos).
