Schloss Maria Loretto /Maria Loretto Castle 4K

Das Schloss Maria-Loretto befindet sich in der Ostbucht des Wörthersees auf der Halbinsel Maria Loretto, neben der Einmündung des Lendkanals im Stadtgebiet von Klagenfurt am Wörthersee. Nachdem sich das Schloss seit seiner Erbauung 1652 im Besitz der Familie Orsini-Rosenberg befunden hatte, erwarb es die Stadt Klagenfurt Ende des Jahres 2002. Das Gebäude und die Parkanlage wurden im Jahr 2007 durch einen Umbau erneuert und der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich gemacht. Ein privates Unternehmen betreibt derzeit auf dem Areal des Schlosses ein Veranstaltungszentrum. English: Maria-Loretto Castle is situated in the eastern bay of Lake Wörthersee, on the Maria Loretto peninsula, adjacent to the mouth of the Lend Canal within the city limits of Klagenfurt am Wörthersee. After having remained in the possession of the Orsini-Rosenberg family since its construction in 1652, the castle was acquired by the City of Klagenfurt at the end of 2002. In 2007, the building and its park grounds underwent renovation and were subsequently opened to the public. A private company currently operates an event center on the castle grounds.
