You Won't Believe This Place at the Top of the World ⭐
One mountain. One cable car through the clouds. One golden bridge held up by stone hands. Ba Na Hills is unlike anything else in Vietnam — and today we're spending the entire day exploring it, from the misty cable car ride to the quiet hilltop above it all. In this video: The Ba Na Hills cable car — one of the longest non-stop cable car lines in the world, riding through clouds above the forest canopy. The Golden Bridge — 150 meters of gold suspended in mist, held by two enormous stone hands emerging from the mountain. Interactive light art installations, the French village, the Medieval Fair zone, and the Water Bloom performance stage. Fantasy Park — the indoor theme park inside the theme park. A live dance and acrobatics show at the Water Bloom stage. Dinh Ba Na — the quiet, meditative hilltop communal house above the main circuit. 00:00 – Intro 01:45 – Ba Na Hills — what it is, where it came from, why it matters 06:33 – Making our way to Hoi An Station 07:27 – Cable car ride through the clouds 08:21 – Arrived at the top | escalators toward the Golden Bridge 10:05 – Golden Bridge — the full experience 14:33 – Interactive light art installation 17:21 – Ba Na Hills French village & colonial history 19:21 – Water Bloom, Medieval Fair & the café circuit 25:39 – Fantasy Park — rides and the indoor theme park experience 27:34 – Ba Na Hills: the big picture | history, numbers, practical tips 32:19 – Live performance at the Water Bloom stage 36:00 – Dinh Ba Na — the quiet side of the mountain 38:07 – Outro About this visit: Ba Na Hills sits 1,500 meters above sea level in the Truong Son mountain range, 25 kilometers west of Da Nang. The French discovered this location in the early 1900s and built a hill station here — a retreat from the coastal heat. Most of that original infrastructure was destroyed during the wars. In 2009, Sun Group began rebuilding the site into one of Vietnam's most visited attractions, receiving between two and three million visitors a year. The cable car ride alone is worth the trip — one of the longest non-stop single-track systems in the world, carrying you up through forest and cloud until the valley disappears completely beneath you. The Golden Bridge opened in 2018 and became a global image almost immediately — 150 meters of walkway held aloft by two weathered stone hands, suspended in mist above the mountain. In person, it delivers. Beyond the headline attractions, Ba Na Hills has a French village, a medieval-themed entertainment zone, an indoor theme park, performance stages, gardens, restaurants, and a quiet communal house at the very top where the noise of the park fades and the mountain takes over. It's a place that contains more than it seems to from the outside.
