Union Pacific IOANP blasts through Fremont Centerville!

After a busy week of wrapping up school, I was able to make my way down to Fremont Station to catch the Union Pacific IOANP making another one of its daily runs through Centerville today! The IOANP originates at the Port of Oakland and terminates at its destination of Bailey Yard in the city of North Platte, Nebraska. It goes in the opposite direction of the INPOA, which terminates at the Port of Oakland returning on its way back from Nebraska. This train was led by AC44 7071, with 8337 and 5838 trailing, along with two rear DPUs. So far, this is my first catch of the train passing by on the main track (Track 1), which is usually used by all trains, but in the past, I have only caught the train passing by on the far track (Track 2) which is even rarer! Anyways, with this being my first catch of the train on track 1, I decided to stand on the platform near the area where the tracks start to curve to get a good angle of the train turning as it passed by! #railfanning #UnionPacific #IOANP #UnionPacificRailroad #intermodal
