I drove the unveiled Silkroad CALM. With the arrival of 2023, Kia Motors has released a new model called the Silkroad CALM. It's already been in catalogs and accepting reservations since last year. It's identical in length, width, and height to the existing Silkroad. Externally, the only differences are the side and rear garnishes, and from the front, they're virtually indistinguishable. The only noticeable difference is the price. While they all look the same, why did they release this model? Is the rumored rival to the Hyundai EX Prime truly true? I guess we'll have to drive it to find out. So, I drove it right from the factory. The name "CALM" seems to suggest this intention. The dictionary definition of "CALM" is "to calm, quiet, and subdue."
