In first episode of Beete Din, historian Ruchika Sharma takes us through the vast history of Mughal empire in India and how it has been deeply engraved in the Indian culture. This amidst the reports of NCERT wiping out chapters on Mughals from history books for CBSE students. Ruchika Sharma is historian of medieval Indian History. She is a doctoral candidate of history at the Centre for Historical Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi. Previously she has finished her MPhil and Masters in medieval Indian history from the Centre for Historical Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University. She currently teaches at the Delhi University.
