Ultimate Altoids Tin Kit
This is my Altoids tin kit. I believe it to be a very well-rounded kit for survival, urban needs, and emergency preparedness. It provides 45 unique items, including the tin itself. This is in no way meant to be the only thing needed for an emergency situation, but it is a great complimentary tool to go along with whatever else you have on hand. I have multiple of these kits. I keep one in my car at all times, I keep one in my hiking bag, and I keep one for every day carry (though I don't actually carry it every day). If you are familiar with Dave Canterbury's 10 C's of survival, this kit provides a good number of them (including backups): 1. Cutting ✅ (x3) 2. Combustion ✅ (x3) 3. Cover ❌ 4. Container ✅ (x2) 5. Cordage ✅ (x3+) 6. Candlelight ✅ (x3) 7. Cotton Bandana ❌ 8. Compass ✅ 9. Cargo Tape ❌ 10. Canvas Needle ✅ (x2) Here is the full list of items (in the order shown in the video): 1. Ranger band 2.
