This selection was published in 1886 by Macmillan. In 1963 the same set of stories was published by New Dover Editions in this particular paperback, maintaining all the original drawings by Walter Crane. The copy I am reading from was given to me in 1983, having already been in the family of my friend since first printing in 1963, this being my own year of birth.
