Palo Santos (Palozantos), a tree native to South America. In Thailand, we're often familiar with it as Palo Santos, a tree with beautiful red flower clusters. Another interesting fact is that Palo Santos is dioecious. #The red flowers we see are from female plants, with long, wing-like red petals. #The flowers from male plants have green flower clusters, small flowers, and prominent stamens. This season (late January-March) is when the flowers are in full bloom. This tree is ideal for gardening.
