It is a project oil in Kenya status update on how Tullow Oil and it's partners are developing the crude oil exploration facilities, early oil pilot scheme, full field development, adoption of the factory-drilling approach and use of the Lokichar-Lamu corridor as the route for the 18-inch crude oil pipeline for export. Integrated central processing facility (CPF) is spread over 433 hectares and host a lot of support infrastructure. Given that the Kenyan oil is waxy, it means the crude oil pipeline will be heated all the way from Turkana to Lamu, before being connected to the export facilities at the Lamu port.
