Verse 2 I bow to Lord Purushottama, the Supreme Lord and giver of blessings, who participates in the sacred Gundicha festival, who delights all people, who joyfully rides upon the chariot during the Rath Yatra, who is worshipped as Neela Madhava upon the Blue Mountain, who grants liberation to devotees, and whose form is lovingly cooled and anointed with sandal paste mixed with the tears of devotion. Verse 3 I bow to Lord Purushottama, the Supreme Lord and granter of boons, who manifests as the sacred wooden deity (Daru-Brahma), who is adorned in countless beautiful forms, who enchants the hearts of devotees as Mahaprabhu, who is the beloved consort of Goddess Lakshmi, and who is worshipped in the jeweled pavilion as the Lord of all forms. Verse 4 I bow to Lord Purushottama, the Supreme Lord and giver of blessings, who plays the flute as Krishna, who leads the cowherds, who reclines upon the Ocean of Milk as Vishnu, who appeared as Lord Rama, who destroyed the demon Madhu as Madhusudana, who is the elder brother of Lakshmana, and who manifested as Buddha and protected the Jain way of life, bringing peace to the world. Verse 5 I bow to Lord Purushottama, the Supreme Lord and bestower of boons, who accepts offerings of food from devotees, who sustains divine life, who protects righteousness, destroys the wicked, nurtures the virtuous, whose lotus-like eyes captivate all who behold Him, and whose beautiful face shines with divine grace. Verse 6 I bow to Lord Purushottama, the Supreme Lord and giver of blessings, who resides in the magnificent temple on the shore of the blue ocean, who grants happiness and prosperity, who reveals the purpose behind creation and existence, who bestows devotion and spiritual understanding, and who wears the Kaustubha gem, dazzling amidst all divine ornaments. Verse 7 I bow to Lord Purushottama, the Supreme Lord and granter of boons, whose form forever appears youthful and fresh, whose brilliance shines like millions of suns, who is difficult even for gods and humans to fully comprehend, who rides upon the chariot Nandighosha, and who guided Arjuna as the divine charioteer in the Mahabharata. Verse 8 I bow to Lord Purushottama, the Supreme Lord and giver of blessings, who rescues beings trapped in the mire of sin, who removes the sorrows of His servants, who destroys suffering and obstacles, who is Lord Krishna, beloved of Lakshmi, and who is also Lord Rama, the husband of Janaki (Sita), eternally liberating devotees from worldly bondage.
