CHAPTER OF FAITH (The book Irsyadul 'Ibad Ila Sabilir Rasyad, by Sheikh Zainuddin Ibni Abdul Azis, supervised by Dr. KH. Isroqunnajah) The author of the book first recalls a hadith received by the Companion Umar, who heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) say, "All deeds depend on their intentions, and everything returns to their intentions." This hadith was conveyed when the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) ordered the people to migrate from Mecca to Medina. The people who migrated had different intentions. Some migrated purely to obey the commands of Allah and the Prophet, some for wealth, some for women, and so on. Allah says, "Allah did not command the jinn and mankind except to worship Me." Allah desires to be worshipped by His creatures, therefore He created them. He provided the necessary facilities for this worship. In another verse, Allah calls on all mankind to affirm Allah as God who created humans to avoid Allah's punishment. Allah made the earth stretch, and the sky became an umbrella for human life, and made the water that flows from the sky so that it could become a source of life for creatures on earth. Therefore, do not make any creature other than Allah your God. Allah created humans to worship Him, and people who make offerings to other than Allah can cause shirk. There is no power and nothing that deserves to be God, only God the Creator has the right to be God. Allah has conveyed kauniyah verses in this universe which are signs of Allah's greatness. For people who disobey Allah, Allah will prepare hell for them. EVENTS ON 10 MUHARRAM Dr. KH. Isroqunnajah) There are many events that occur on the 10th of Muharram. The following are some of them. • Prophet Adam met Siti Hawa on earth after being separated when they were sent down from heaven to earth. • The flood at the time of Prophet Noah ended. Prophet Noah was ordered to plant trees which were then made into boats. After 250 years the tree was big enough and a boat was made. After the boat was finished, there was a very big flood so that almost the entire surface of the earth was filled with water, the only survivors were those who followed the Prophet Noah's ship. The water then ran out on the 10th of Muharram. • Prophet Ibrahim was saved from fire by the king of Namrud. Because he resisted, King Namrud ordered Prophet Ibrahim to be burned. By using a very large fire whose pile of wood was like a mountain, Prophet Ibrahim was thrown into the sea of ​​fire. But Allah saved Prophet Ibrahim from the fire. • Prophet Jonah was saved from the belly of a fish. Because his maximum efforts were unsuccessful in getting his people to believe, Prophet Yunus then went sailing. In the middle of the sea, the captain saw very large waves as a sign that someone was abandoning responsibility. The captain then drew lots on who this person was, and it turned out that the name of the Prophet Yunus was drawn three times. Prophet Jonah was then thrown from the boat and immediately swallowed by a very large fish. While in the fish's belly, he recited the prayer "La ila haila anta subhanaka inni kuntu minat dholimin," so on the 10th of Muharram, Prophet Jonah was removed from the fish's belly. • Prophet Jesus was raised to heaven, saved from those who harmed him. • Prophet Muhammad migrated from Mecca to Medina during the month of Muharram.
