[Episode 11] RASCO AND US - Coexistence between livestock guardian dogs and other users of the space - 5’24 ©Axel Falguier Michel is a sheep farmer in the Dévoluy region. Last year, one of his dogs nipped a trailer. Michel wanted the opinion of Magali Allard, the livestock guardian dog network coordinator at the French Livestock Institute (Institut de l’Elevage), to be reassured and to know if there was a risk in continuing to use this dog to guard his flock. Meanwhile, to ease tensions within the village, the municipality, in conjunction with the tourist office and Michel, decided to organize a mediation meeting. They requested the support of Béatrice Reynaud, the local representative of the French Livestock Institute's livestock guardian dog network, to facilitate this discussion.
