Zoo (From Zootopia 2) - Shakira | Zumba | Pop | Brazilian Funk | #YianChoreo

“Zoo” is a new song I came across on YouTube a few weeks ago, which is from the sequel to Zootopia. Although the movie won’t be released until late November, the early release of the theme song and MV already got me excited. The song instantly reminded me of Shakira’s “Waka Waka” — both have that irresistible rhythm that makes you move, your heartbeat race, and your energy rise like you’re at a carnival. Inspired by that feeling, I wanted the choreography to be more than just movements to the beat. I added playful details that make people smile — animal ears (you can choose to have bunny’s or fox’s), the “Z” gesture from “Z-O-O,” and even a drumming section for interaction.
