A spectacular dessert that looks like it came from a pastry shop but is easier than you think? Today Eva Arguiñano will teach you how to prepare a chocolate and hazelnut Swiss roll with a light, fluffy sponge and a creamy dark chocolate filling that will make you fall in love. 🍫🌰 ✅ Fluffy sponge cake in 10 minutes in the oven ✅ Creamy and crunchy filling ✅ A perfect dessert in just 30 minutes 📝 INGREDIENTS (Serves 6): -For the sponge cake: 3 eggs 75 g flour 75 g sugar -For the filling and decoration: 200 g dark chocolate 80 g softened butter 250 ml heavy cream (very cold) 120 g hazelnut brittle Mint leaves for decoration 👩‍🍳 STEP BY STEP: 1. Prepare the sponge cake batter: Beat the eggs with the sugar until doubled in volume. Add the sifted flour with gentle folding motions. 2. Bake: Spread the batter onto parchment paper (1 cm thick). Bake at 180°C (350°F) with the oven set to conventional bake (top and bottom heat) for 8-10 minutes. 3. Make the chocolate cream: Melt the chocolate and butter together in a double boiler. Separately, whip the very cold cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the two together. 4. Roll up: Remove the sponge cake from the pan and carefully peel off the parchment paper. Spread 250g (1/2 cup) of chocolate cream over the cake, sprinkle half of the praline lengthwise, and roll it up. 5. Decorate: Cover the rolled cake with the remaining cream (using a piping bag), sprinkle with the remaining praline, decorate with mint leaves, and trim the ends for a neat finish. 💡 EVA'S TIPS: Eggs at room temperature: they whip better.
