More pre-war car news - a 1931 MORRIS MINOR arrives at OCC HQ!

Long-term OCC-ers will remember the two-seat 1932 Morris Minor we had until just a few years ago (the car I stumbled across on the Morris Register stand by chance at the NEC classic car show in 2025), and the 1934 Minor saloon that we had around 15 years ago. The latest pre-war car arrival is a 1931 Morris Minor two-seater tourer, I hadn't planned on buying this but these things just happen sometimes, and it now resides in the garage alongside our 1934 MG. The two cars are distantly related as I'll discuss in this video. As a competitor to the Austin 7 back in the day, the late 1920s/early 1930s Morris Minor is often mistaken for its Longbridge-built rival and its easy to see why. I've always liked the look of the two-seater Minor, and when the chance to grab this one came up recently, we swiftly headed down to Herefordshire to check it out. This is the result. In future videos I'll describe this pre-war Morris Minor's re-commissioning as it happens, it shouldn't need a full restoration as such, just a checking over and full service. If you like this kind of thing, please think about subscribing to the channel! I'm a big fan of pre-war cars and hopefully these videos (plus those on the MG and the 1931 Buick) will help raise their profile.
