江浦祇園祭は、一つの踊り山車(田中組)、三つの大蛇山（二の丸吉原組・新町組み・古町組）が町内を練り歩き、悪疫退散・五穀豊穣・稲虫退除を祈って廻ります。地区独特の祇園囃子が伝えられており、独特のリズムで太鼓や鐘を打ち鳴らし、高さ4m近くもある大蛇山が火を吹きながら地区内を練り歩きます。（みやま市HPより） At the Enoura Gion Festival, one dancing float (Tanaka group) and three giant snake floats (Ninomaru Yoshiwara group, Shinmachi group, Furumachi group) parade through the town, praying for the elimination of epidemics, bountiful harvests, and the elimination of rice pests. The Gion bayashi music unique to the area has been passed down. Drums and bells are beaten to a unique rhythm, and a giant snake float measuring nearly 4m in height parades through the area, breathing fire.
