Island Festival, Nanumaga Island, Tuvalu by NATU; Monden Natsuyo

When they gather for an occasion, the island's original songs are relished with dances, jokes and laughs. This island's festival custom works as spiritual ventilation, which pumps fresh air into residents' souls. (* This one is from the 'morning tea time' of Tuvalu Independence Day, Oct.1 2008.) I have been staying on remote islands in Tuvalu since 2004. The footage is from our (I and my 7yr. old daughter then) second stay on Nanumaga island. Awesome photos from everyday life on remote islands in Tuvalu:   / mondennatsuyo
