Hyundai Motor Spain presented its motorsport program for this year in Madrid. It will participate in the Spanish Rally Championship (S-CER) with two top drivers: Pepe López and Arnau Bartes, the latter the reigning champion of the i20 N Cup in 2025. Both drivers will compete with the Hyundai i20N Rally 2. The plans for the Hyundai i20 N Rally Cup, included in the S-CER, the CERA, and the CEEA, were also presented. All cars participating in both categories are supported by Hyundai Customer Racing Iberia (Sports&You). The Hyundai Cup, based on the i20 N, will once again be integrated into the 2026 S-CER Super Championship. Hyundai Spain aims to promote young talent by offering an accessible way to excel at the highest level of rally competition in Spain. The Hyundai i20 N Rally Cup will consist of six events, five of which are part of the Spanish Rally Championship (S-CER). The debut will be at the Rally La Nucía Mediterráneo. Hyundai Motor Spain continues to provide the RFEdA (Royal Spanish Automobile Federation) with the IONIQ 5 N as the S-CER's Zero Car, demonstrating that electrification is compatible with competition. This 2026 season promises to be equally exciting for Hyundai's participation in the Spanish Alternative Energy Championship, with driver José Manuel Pérez-Aicart at the wheel of the Hyundai INSTER Cross. Hyundai, as a brand committed to sustainability, continues its support for another year in a championship that is establishing itself as an international benchmark. One of the main highlights of the event was the presentation of Hyundai's sponsorship agreement with the Spanish Karting Championship, an international benchmark that will be renamed CEK Hyundai starting this season. The CEK and Hyundai share values ​​such as a commitment to inclusion, diversity, and healthy competition on a level playing field.
