"Somebody touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me." — Luke 8:46 (NKJV) The multitudes thronged Jesus that day — everyone was close to Him, pressing against Him. But only one woman touched Him. In Luke 8:40–55, two desperate stories intertwine: a synagogue ruler whose only daughter is dying, and a woman who has suffered for twelve long years. Both discover the same truth — nearness is not encounter. In one room, with one Jesus, everything becomes different. In this message we discover three differences: 1️⃣ A Different Touch — The crowd pressed Him; she drew power from Him. What separates pressing from touching is faith (Luke 8:43–48) 2️⃣ A Different Voice — The house said "dead." Jesus said "Do not be afraid; only believe." Whose report will you believe? (Luke 8:49–50) 3️⃣ A Different Atmosphere — He put them all outside. Ridicule went outside; resurrection happened inside (Luke 8:51–55) He is not just a Teacher — He is King of kings, Lord of lords, Prince of Peace, Father to the fatherless, God of the impossible. So don't give up on what Jesus can do. Keep praying. Keep coming to Jesus. Stay on your knees — even when it seems He is passing you by. Nearness is not encounter. Reach differently.
