223 Rem 77 grain Sierra Tipped Matchking ballistic gel test
Gel testing the 77 grain Sierra Tipped Matchking in 10% gelatin at high velocity and low simulating long range shot out of a 223 Remington. (High velocity shot hit the gel at 2677 fps, sorry I missed that in the video) High velocity shot had a retained weight of 32.2 and low the core was 47.3 and jacket was 13.6 These were given to me by a friend to test. He has been using them out of a 223 Rem antelope hunting and likes them. I can see why.
