Mum said close your eyes… bad idea. Escape from Umbra Demo is an indie horror game that starts with a birthday surprise and quickly turns into a root-covered nightmare. One minute there’s cake, candles, and Happy Birthday being sung at me… the next minute there’s a horrible jumpscare, creepy roots everywhere, and something called the Umbra stalking us. In this Escape from Umbra Demo gameplay, I wake up in a holiday house with my parents, search for a mysterious book, follow a very suspicious cat, read far too much lore for my old man brain, and use a flashlight that can reveal and dispel hidden magic. Then, just when I thought the game was properly getting going, I got chased out of the house and the demo ended. About Escape from Umbra Demo Escape from Umbra is a first-person survival horror escape room game where you are trapped in a mysterious world of darkness. Your only help comes from a secret book, a flashlight, and cats that seem to know where you need to go.
