Alaska's Lake Monster Just Got PROVEN — And It's More Terrifying Than Jaws
Lake Iliamna in Alaska—77 miles long, over 1,000 feet deep, and connected to the Bering Sea through the Kvichak River—has been the site of credible sightings since 1942 when bush pilot Babe Alsworth and government wildlife agent Bill Hammersley reported seeing more than a dozen massive creatures (25-30 feet each) moving in coordinated formation with metallic-looking backs, followed by decades of reports from 17-person mass sightings, pilots, biologists, and fishermen describing animals estimated at 30-60 feet long exhibiting pack hunting behavior and intelligence unlike any known fish.
