Hours before midnight of December 3,2020 -- some 50 members of the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighter (BIFF) attacked the town of Datu Piang in Maguindanao.The BIFF harassed the residents of Brgy. Poblacion, the Municipal Police station and attempted to torch Sta. Teresita church and the Notre Dame of Dulawan, a private school run by the Oblate of Mary Immaculate. The BIFF succeeded in burning a police patrol car before they fled. No casualties were reported.
