In my opinion, I think that it encapsulates that era of internet music. I had only seen this song show up again about a year ago because it became more popular than it sorta was back then, and it unlocked memories I forgot from years ago. Listening to it nowadays makes me feel really euphoric, and rediscovering it felt refreshing. It just feels special because I have known about that song since 2015 and immediately knew where I first heard it from. I wanted this remix to stay faithful to the original with the melodies and energy, while also putting my own flip on it, and I think it has worked out to the best of my abilities. I haven't had this much fun working on a remix like this in a long while, I thought it'd just be like a thing that wouldn't work out and leave it as an 8-bar loop, never to be touched again, but something just clicked and I had to keep working on it.
