Aladdin Blueflame Kerosene Heater - How To Remove a Stuck Wick and Burner Basket

In this video I go over how to remove and replace a stuck wick and burner basket on an Aladdin Model 37 Blueflame kerosene (Paraffin) heater. I bought this one on ebay and it was in a lot worse condition than I expected. The wick was completely seized up, as was the burner basket. Luckily I was able to get them removed and replaced the wick. I am actually burning a 50/50 mix of diesel fuel and kerosene fuel in this in this and still getting a decent blue flame, which is a lot cleaner than some of the other kerosene heaters I've tried in the past. In case you're wondering, we intend to use this in a greenhouse and only during the coldest days in winter. Overall though, I think this is a great little heater! They are no longer commonly used in the U.S. but looks like there is a collectors market in the U.K. They are definitely used in Japan. Parts are a challenge to get in the U.S. but I have been able to order parts from England.
