Expiración de un Vertical entre los Strikes: Qué pasa, cuáles son los riesgos, cómo gestionarlos

When a vertical expires between the strikes, it means that the underlying asset's price at expiration falls between the strike prices of the call and put options that make up the vertical strategy. Depending on how the vertical is configured and the exact price of the underlying asset at expiration, the outcome can vary: Debit Vertical (Buy): If the underlying asset's price falls between the strikes, the call option (lower strike) will lose value, and the put option (higher strike) will also expire worthless. In this case, the loss would be the premium paid for the call option. Credit Vertical (Sell): If the underlying asset's price falls between the strikes, both options will expire worthless, and the trader who sold the vertical will keep the premium received as profit.
