The Flinders got off to a ROUGH start | The Silver Lining

The Flinders Ranges wasn't quite as welcoming as we hoped. After arriving at Rawnsley Park Station, strong winds and sideways rain quickly changed our plans. Strong winds meant a sleepless night as we checked the awning in the middle of the night and watched the weather roll through South Australia's iconic Flinders Ranges. With many 4WD tracks affected by the rain, we adjusted our plans and set out to see what the region had to offer. Along the way we explored Cradock, visited Blinman, discovered Ferntree Falls flowing after the recent rain and enjoyed some incredible views across the ranges once the sun finally returned. Sometimes the best travel experiences come from the plans you never intended to make.
