MANEJANDO por Canal de regadío más importante del Norte de Chile Ep1

The Camarico Canal is an irrigation structure that supplies the Ovalle region of Chile. Currently, the Canal Association is carrying out concrete lining works to optimize water use, which will benefit approximately 400 farmers. This initiative, supported by the Irrigation Law, seeks to increase water efficiency and combat drought in the area. Function: Transports irrigation water from the La Paloma reservoir to the cultivated areas in the Ovalle commune. Current Works: A concrete lining project is underway to prevent water loss through seepage and improve the efficiency of water transport. Beneficiaries: The project will directly benefit around 400 farmers belonging to the organization. Financing: The works are subsidized through the Irrigation Law, with a significant investment of 407 million Chilean pesos.
