SEGREDOS DO INTERIOR DO RS - IVOTI / CASAS EM ESTILO ENXAIMEL E PONTE DO IMPERADOR

People, I'm sightseeing in the city of Ivoti - RS. This will be my future city. We went to visit one of the city's tourist attractions. This place is called the Enxaimel houses complex. The Enxaimel architectural style is typical of German immigration. German immigration began in Ivoti in 1826 with the name "Linha 48". The Enxaimel houses complex is located on the banks of the Feitoria stream, and the existing houses were built between the 18th and 19th centuries. There are different construction techniques, including Enxaimel. The Enxaimel style consists of the construction of wooden trusses with the gaps filled with materials found on site. In the case of the Enxaimel houses of Ivoti, the spaces between the wooden beams were filled with sandstone and set with clay. The houses were acquired by the city hall over the years for the preservation of local history and culture. The houses have been used for various purposes, including as a museum, cultural center, and space for selling handicrafts and local products. The site also features a covered open area used for fairs and events. I invite everyone to visit Ivoti in Rio Grande do Sul - It's worth it! Did you like the topic?
