We went to Panaquatira beach and we really liked it. Maria Clara played a lot, made a sand sculpture, swam, it was an incredible afternoon. Panaquatira Beach is about a 30-minute drive from São Luís. It's a beach with very warm water, little traffic and lots of wind. We drove a car on the sand there, and we loved it because it was the first time we had an experience like that. But oh, to spend the day there it's important to bring chairs, a parasol, food, drinks and whatever else you think you need to have a great day at the beach.
