ADMISSION EXAM The Oral Exam for the Nursing Assistant Competition Following your eligibility by file, you will be invited for the second exam. The oral exam for the IFAS competition is an interview in front of a panel of judges lasting 20 minutes and designed to assess your motivation and abilities to successfully complete the IFAS training and become a nursing assistant. During the interview, the panel will use the application submitted at registration to assess the candidate's professional experience, career plan, and motivations, as well as their ability to promote their professional experience. The interview can be divided into two parts: 1. A presentation of the candidate: a monologue to highlight themselves, promote their experience, and express their motivation. 2. Questions and answers from the jury: designed to assess the candidate's prerequisites, knowledge, and motivation. The jury in front of you is generally composed of two people: 1. a director of a nursing assistant training institute (or IFSI) OR a nurse, a permanent trainer at an IFAS. 2. a nurse working in a supervisory role OR a nurse with at least three years of experience supervising nursing assistant trainees. Following this interview, you will be assigned a score of 20. This will determine, based on the results of the other candidates, whether you are on the admission list for admission to the IFAS or on the supplementary list (waiting list).
