First Bird Shot Over Máquina! Pointer Training w/ Pigeons: "Make the Machine" | Ep: #46

Training pointing dog with pigeons is what we are doing today! If you watched the previous couple episode in our pointing dog training series, you will have seen how poorly this went the first and second times we tried it. Now, we are back for vengeance as we try it again. After our last attempt going significantly better than the first, we are now going to shoot a pigeon over her! We will not however shoot the bird if she doesn't point and hold it well. We are setting it up different this time, and putting out multiple birds to have multiple opportunities. All we are looking for is one good solid point! This series will be different from any other we’ve done for a variety of reasons. What won’t be different is that it will be real, raw and unedited. We share the good, bad and ugly knowing they they all are important in order to make progress with a pointing dog puppy.
