Why Didn't I Buy a Lexus LFA?!

No secret that the Lexus LFA is one of my favourite cars in the world, so why you might ask have I not bought one? While heading out for a drive in this stunning Fresh Green example, let's talk about the surprises of the supercar market over the last year, and how valuable they are now! I've often said that the Ferrari F50 and Porsche Carrera GT take the top two spots on my 'dream car' list, and they were followed by the SLS AMG Black Series but having bought one, that spot was then taken by the Lexus LFA. In the past I have considered buying one on multiple occasions but obviously funds are not totally unlimited and there's often more to it than you might think. However when they were $600k or so a year ago, it already felt punchy, and with a very unsure market ahead nobody really expected that price to hold firm. Now however, it's gone through the roof and a stunning example like this is in the region of $1m! Regardless, the very kind owner of this car, number 250 of the 500 LFAs, kindly brought it out for us to go for a quick run including a chance for me to get behind the wheel and be fully reminded what makes it quite so special. Sadly for me, I suspect the ship has now sailed in terms of the opportunity to ever buy one for my collection. With a naturally aspirated V10, stunning looks that would look current today, and some seriously advanced technology for the time, everything about the LFA is special.
