इस वीडियो में कर्नल जसवंत डबास ने 1971 की लड़ाई के बाद इलाहाबाद में पाकिस्तान के युद्ध बन्दियों के कैम्प में अपने तजुर्बे का अनूठा बयान किया है। He had his schooling from Delhi and was awarded his degree in civil engineering from BITS Pilani in 1970. He started his career as a farm (irrigation) engineer with HAU Hisar and Haryana irrigation department. Later joined Indian Military Academy Dehradun as a Technical Graduate and passed out on 31st March 1972. He was posted to 234 Engineer Regiment on 4th December 2972. Later when the Regiment was located in Allahabad, during March 1973 he was posted as Officer in Charge of CUPC (Civilians under Protective Custody Camp) at Old Cantonment, Allahabad. He later served in an independent Field Company, with a bomb disposal platoon, CME Pune, Chief Engineer Zone, and with a Mechanized Engineer Regiment during OP Brass Tacs. He had also been a GE at Mumbai and with the Photo Mapping Engineer Group. He took premature retirement on 17th August 1993 and later worked with Unitech, DLF, Ansals and Shriram EPC in senior positions in construction and project management.
