In this video, I start by taking down my Christmas tree and tidying up my studio after the busy December season. With the space refreshed, I’m ready to dive into a new ceramics project! I create a charming little clay house using a unique technique: rolling the clay around a rolling pin to form a hollow base. I then shape it into a rectangular house using a paddle. For the roof, I cut into the four corners, fold two sides together, and trim the remaining edges to fit. Finally, I add a small stoop with a hole to hold a branch, creating the look of a tree in front of the house. This project is perfect for anyone who loves creative and simple pottery ideas.
